23 May – 8 June 2008
A love starved couple struggle to satisfy their desire to have it all during the morally skewed 1980’s in America. When they take in Inky (a young Eastern European nanny who is obsessed with Muhammad Ali) to care for their nine-year-old daughter and infant son, they are forced to face both their limitations and their potential for change.
INKY – a 15-round, dark comedy about the important of fighting back!
“Originality – it’s rare but you can experience the pleasurable sharp intake of breath it brings by seeing Rinne Groff’s Inky... a neat little noir comedy full of deft twists, acerbic quips and a lunge at your guts.”
