Sophocles’ story of OEDIPUS THE KING is driven by themes of sex, murder, plague and corruption — the relevance of which to our contemporary world is palpable.
These themes, combined with Sophocles’ poetic and visceral imagery, are the key themes in OEDIPUS THE KING.
