Early Career Artists Program
Theatre Works is thrilled to announce the inaugural cohort of its Early Career Artist Program, a transformative training platform for recent graduates in acting, design, and technical fields. This free initiative, facilitated by Artistic Associate Steven Mitchell Wright, aims to seamlessly bridge the gap between academic theory and practical theatremaking. The comprehensive curriculum covers a spectrum of crucial topics, including Creation Methodologies, Career Goal Setting, Devising Processes, Ensemble Management, Producing, and Public Relations.
In an exciting culmination of the programme, the participants will create, produce and present THE VOLITION PROJECT as part of Theatre Works’ 2024 program. Which will serve as both a real life case study and a testing ground for their precedent knowledge and newly acquired skills.
The 2024 cohort comprises talented individuals: Rosa Albett-Johnstone, Kasey Barrett, Ozzy Breen-Carr, Liam Crevola, Ella Daly, Hayley Edwards, Sarah Frenchman, Jasper Jordan, Ella Le Fournour, River Stevens, and Kerry Turpie.
This project is made possible by The Guardian Angels, a small group of patrons who value the importance of art making and artists.
