Join the team at Theatre Works – where bold ideas take centre stage. Theatre Works is seeking a passionate and organised Associate Producer to join our team in a permanent part-time (0.6 EFT) capacity.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven arts professional to play a pivotal role in delivering our dynamic annual program and supporting the next generation of independent theatre makers.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Lead, the Associate Producer supports the planning and delivery of our artistic program. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of productions and initiatives, providing hands-on producing support to artists and companies while developing your own skills and networks within the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in coordinating the delivery of productions and projects across both venues.
Act as the main point of contact for co-producing artists, supporting them through bump-in/out, rehearsal periods, and production weeks.
Manage schedules, production logistics, artist agreements, and budgets.
Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of each show.
Support artist development initiatives and help foster new work.
WHO YOU ARE
You have 2+ years experience working in the performing arts or cultural sector.
You're organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
You have a passion for independent theatre and a commitment to supporting artists.
You’re a clear communicator, good at juggling tasks, and love working collaboratively.
Experience in producing or production coordination is highly desirable.

Salary in line with Live Performance Award + superannuation.
