Theatre Works Presents

The Last Lighthouse Keeper

By Katie Reeve | Directed by Nancy Black

20 - 24 September

The Last Lighthouse Keeper tells a story of joy, sadness, resilience and friendship through puppetry and music. Set on a faraway coast, it centres around a Lighthouse Keeper, his wife a Fisherwoman, and their Lighthouse. This unique production invites the children to become storytellers. They build props and parts of the set, and sit within the scene as the story unfolds. There they engage with the puppets, help drive the action, and bring the story to a joyful conclusion.

A Q & A session at the end invites them to handle the puppets, discuss the show with the performers, and learn the secrets of the set.
