Theatre Works has been long established as the south-side festival hub in Melbourne. During festival time our spaces are activated with stacked programming allowing audience to see multiple shows in an evening and make a night out of it.

This October, Theatre Works and Explosives Factory become the Southside home of MELBOURNE FRINGE! Our Melbourne Fringe Hub is packed full of circus, drag, drama and comedy - with back-to-back-to-back every night across three weeks! Explore all 9 Fringe productions below!

 

In the first week of January, Theatre Works was taken over by SOOO FRESH SUMMER FEST - a festival showcasing brand new works by some of Melbourne’s most exciting up-and-coming artists.

 

Later in the month, Theatre Works’ MIDSUMMA FESTIVAL HUB was buzzing with 6 ground-breaking shows across 2 performance spaces. A truly queer program that embraces and celebrates the whole rainbow community.
